The 4 Days Uganda Gorilla Tour combines a comfortable arrival in Entebbe with an unforgettable gorilla trekking experience in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The journey includes one night in Entebbe on arrival, followed by travel to Bwindi for gorilla trekking and time to enjoy the beautiful landscapes of southwestern Uganda.

You will spend your first night relaxing in Entebbe before beginning the journey to Bwindi. After arriving at your selected lodge, you will have time to relax and prepare for the following day’s gorilla trek.

The highlight of the tour is gorilla trekking in Bwindi’s ancient rainforest. Accompanied by experienced guides and trackers, you will hike through the forest in search of a habituated gorilla family and spend time observing these remarkable primates in their natural habitat.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe

Arrive at Entebbe International Airport where you will be met by your safari guide and transferred to your hotel. Spend the evening relaxing and recovering from your journey.

Day 2: Entebbe to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After breakfast, begin your journey to southwestern Uganda. Enjoy scenic views of the countryside, rolling hills and local communities as you travel towards Bwindi.

Arrive at your lodge, check in and relax. If time permits, you can enjoy a nature walk or optional community experience.

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi

After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for your gorilla trekking briefing. Your guides and trackers will lead you into Bwindi’s ancient rainforest in search of a habituated gorilla family.

Once you find the gorillas, you will spend time observing them in their natural habitat before returning through the forest.

After the trek, return to your lodge and relax.

Day 4: Bwindi to Entebbe/Kampala

After breakfast, begin your journey back towards Entebbe or Kampala. Enjoy the changing landscapes of southwestern Uganda along the way.

Depending on your departure schedule, you can be transferred to Entebbe International Airport for your onward flight or to your hotel in Kampala.
