Elephant Plains Lodge
Perched on the escarpment of the Albertine Rift, Elephant Plains Lodge is a luxury safari retreat overlooking Queen Elizabeth National Park, Lake Kikorongo and Lake George. Accommodation
The lodge offers six double or twin cottages and two family cottages. Each standard cottage has an en-suite bathroom and a private veranda overlooking the landscape. The family cottages feature two bedrooms and two bathrooms, providing extra space for families travelling together. The cottages are spaced across the property to offer privacy and scenic views.
Facilities and Dining
Guests can enjoy indoor and outdoor dining, relax in the main lodge lounge, have a drink at the bar or unwind beside the swimming pool. Other facilities include a firepit, gardens with nature trails, an on-site craft shop and free Wi-Fi in the main lodge area. The property is described as wheelchair accessible.
Safari Experiences
Elephant Plains Lodge provides a base for exploring Queen Elizabeth National Park. Activities in the surrounding area include game drives on the Kasenyi Plains, wildlife viewing around the Mweya Peninsula, boat safaris on the Kazinga Channel, crater-lake excursions and chimpanzee tracking in Kyambura Gorge. Confirm which activities and transfers the lodge can arrange, as park entrance and activity fees are not included in its accommodation rates.
